The Connect Prison Project is a collaboration between the Black Indigenous Harm Reduction Alliance and members of the Indigenous Health Centre of Tiohtià:ke and AIDS Community Care Montreal. We've teamed up to offer creative harm reduction and sexual health workshops at Leclerc Institution, the provincial women's prison in Laval. Our goal is to provide information and hold space for discussions that promote health and wellbeing in a prison context, and to break isolation by connecting incarcerated people with members of their communities on the outside.
